Short-Term Trips
Every summer, River Ridge hosts Big Kick Soccer, a free community soccer camp for children ages 4 by May 30 through rising 6th graders. Kids learn foundational soccer skills like dribbling, shooting, and teamwork in a fun, encouraging environment. Most importantly, each child hears the Gospel shared in a way that’s engaging and easy to understand, helping them see how much God loves them.
Go Global Trips for 2026
Colombia, South America
(Ages 13+)
Trip Experience:
In partnership with Global Transformation Ministries, teams will support Esther’s Home by teaching young women practical job skills and life skills. Teams will also host afternoon activities for neighborhood children, helping build relationships and create meaningful connections.
In addition to relational ministry, teams will assist with construction and remodeling projects at the transitional home and other GTM properties—meeting tangible needs while serving alongside local leaders.

Nairobi, Kenya
(Ages 16+)
Trip Experience:
This trip offers the opportunity to serve alongside local Young Life staff and leaders in Nairobi. Teams will engage in ministry outreach, support clubs and camps for local teens, and participate in discipleship and spiritual growth opportunities.
Teams will also contribute to a work project that benefits the local Young Life area and the surrounding community. The trip will conclude with a team debriefing and a safari experience in the Maasai Mara.
