River Ridge Church partners with individuals and organizations—both locally and around the world—who are committed to sharing God’s love, hope, and care with people from every nation. Through these partnerships, we join in God’s global mission and support ministries that are making a lasting impact in their communities.

We are grateful to walk alongside these Global Partners as they faithfully serve, lead, and point others to Jesus.

Miller Family

Global Transformation Ministries

Brian Miller grew up in Cross Lanes enjoying pepperoni rolls and serving with the Air National Guard as an aircraft mechanic. While on a short-term mission trip to Medellín, Colombia—serving at a homeless children’s foundation and enjoying empanadas—Brian met his future wife. Since 2002, the Millers have served the Lord together with a shared passion for holistic ministry.

Through Global Transformation Ministries, the Miller family has helped establish a church, a seminary, and a crisis pregnancy center—impacting their city spiritually, relationally, and practically. Together, they are raising three children while continuing to invest deeply in the work God has called them to.

Brookes Family

Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA)

Eric Brookes serves as an Area Director with the Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) in Putnam and Cabell Counties. Since joining FCA full-time in January 2019, Eric has overseen ministry in 24 schools, including Marshall University.

Driven by FCA’s vision—to see the world transformed by Jesus through the influence of coaches and athletes—Eric works daily to disciple students and leaders through sports. He and his wife, Ivy, are raising their two children, Emery and Anderson, while faithfully serving families and schools throughout the region.

Dunn Family

Great Commission Europe

Joe and Peggy Dunn both placed their trust in Christ while students at The Ohio State University and quickly became active in campus ministry. During college, Joe co-led a summer team that helped plant a church which continues to thrive more than 30 years later, producing pastors and missionaries around the world.

In 1991, Joe joined Reliant Mission (formerly Great Commission Ministries), serving in numerous leadership roles including Director of Ministry Team Development, lead pastor of a church plant, Director of Missionary Resources, and—since 2004—Board Member and Managing Director of Great Commission Europe.

Peggy serves alongside Joe while also working part-time as a Registered Respiratory Therapist at Orlando Regional Medical Center. Together, they are the proud parents of five adult children: Amanda, Trey, Hillary, Ian, and Nate.
